Thanks so much to Janine Schaults for her Tribune piece about Rob & his upcoming album release gig for Lovevolve this Wednesday the 25th at Uncommon Ground in Chicago. Click through to read more.
Bochnik knows every aspect of “Lovevolve.” He plays the majority of the instruments, save for the drums, which come courtesy of Quin Kirchner of NOMO, and two tracks where members of his former local group, Garden Bower, join him. Everyone who contributed will be on hand to celebrate the record’s release at Uncommon Ground in Lakeview on Oct. 25 with a performance of the album’s 10 moody tracks in sequence. He’ll also serve as Hansard’s opening act on a run of dates in Germany next month where he’ll stand on stage with only a guitar like a true troubadour.
Update! There will be an album release gig on October 25th at Uncommon Ground in Chicago. Get info & tickets here.

In the wake of the release, Rob will be supporting his friend & longtime Frames/Swell Season bandmate Glen Hansard on most of Glen’s tour of Germany in November.
